Japan Automotive Service Equipment Association (JASEA) was founded as a voluntary organization in February, 1948. In September, 1962, JASEA was authorized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) to be a Corporate Juridical Person. Under the supervision and guidance of these Ministries, JASEA is responsible to calibrate and test of motor vehicle inspection equipment.
We have contributed to the motor vehicle safety, prevention of pollution and development of the industry by maintaining the accuracy, improving the quality and performance, and promoting fair distributions of motor vehicle maintenance and inspection equipment.
